Maya & Photoshop. The Lanterns were made in Maya and positioned in 3D space. I used a screenshot of that in Maya and placed it in the composition in Photoshop.
Photoshop. I used a screenshot of the Character from the original N64 game and reworked him to be high res with correct lighting for the scene.
Photoshop. This painting used a process called 'Photobashing'. I used photos of foliage, fungi etc. to help draw the image. I would then paint over top.
This is a 'digital en plein air'. Which is when you take a photo and copy it as a light study. I added in the Castle.
